Your Department At a Glance.       We are 20 unpaid members from the community. We train weekly to insure professionalism and safety. We respond to many types of emergencies, medical, fire, fallen trees, downed power-lines, and vehicle accidents. We respond to approximately 60 calls per year. The CMVFD has three aging but serviceable fire engines. A majority of our funding comes from community donations. We are always accepting community donations. Non-firefighting volunteers are just as valuable to the department if you are unable to donate money or do not feel comfortable volunteering as a firefighter.
