Who We Are What We Do We Care

The CMVFD has been awarded a highly competitive FEMA grant. Over 19,000 U.S. fire departments submitted grant proposals, while just over 700 were funded. This multi-thousand dollar grant to CMVFD will fund medical training for firefighters, provide funds for free community CPR classes, and buy training equipment (ex. CPR manikins). The CMVFD continues to excel as a locally-run volunteer company.

A majority of our operating budget
is funded by our two yearly fundraising events, the spaghetti dinner,
which is always on the second weekend in November, and the pancake breakfast,
which is always on the last weekend in May. These two events not only
support Camp Meeker emergency sevice, but are also some of the few
times we come together as a community.
