NOTICE OF HEARING

Pursuant to Section 5473 of the Health and Safety Code, the Camp Meeker Recreation and Park District will file changes to its Water Code (Ordinance # 07) in the manner provided in accordance with Section 5470, et seq. of the Health and Safety Code and the ordinances of said District. The changes will include new provisions for suspension of service due to non use or illegal use, and provisions prohibiting resale of water.

A copy of the complete proposed changes is available for viewing on weekdays between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Camp Meeker Post Office, at Russian River Utility, 7131 Mirabel Rd., Forestville and the Camp Meeker District Office as well as on the District’s website at www.campmeeker.org.

You are further notified that the Camp Meeker Recreation and Park District Board will hold a hearing on December 16, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Anderson Hall, 101 Lakeside, Camp Meeker to hear any and all objections to the filing of said changes. The Camp Meeker community shall have the right to appear at said hearing and to file any and all objections they may have to the water code changes, at which time said District, after due consideration, will determine whether said changes to the Water Code (Ordinance #7) shall be approved.
