AGENDA

I. Call to Order

The meeting was called to order by Vice-President, Gary Helfrich

at 10:32 a.m.

II. Roll Call

Directors Helfrich, Anderson, Meyer and Lemmer were present. Director Crawford was absent.

III. Approval of Agenda

The Directors’ Reports item was removed from the agenda.

A motion was made by Fred Meyer, seconded by Amy Lemmer to approve the agenda with the removal of Action item G.

IV. Statements of Abstention

There were no statements of abstention.

V. Public Comment

A member of the public present requested that the Board consider making items “non-legislative” sounding. Acting President Helfrich advised that the Board would consider the suggestion.

VII. ACTION AGENDA

A. PUBLIC HEARING

There was no public comment specific to Proposed Resolution No. 2009-011, which proposes to approve the 2009-2010 annual flat charge billing via property taxes. Proposed Resolution No. 2009-010 is entitled:

"A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CAMP MEEKER RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT OVERRULING PROTESTS AND CONFIRMING REPORT ON WATER CHARGES AND DELINQUENT WATER CHARGES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010."

Ms. Doran-Girard informed the Board of three changes to the published parcel list. These changes are: a) Removal parcel 075-146-012, and b) add parcels 075-100-34 and 075-300-011 for $350.00 each.

B. CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING.

There being no further public comment or list changes, a motion was made by Cathie Anderson, seconded by Fred Meyer to close the Public Hearing for Proposed Resolution 2009-011.

The motion was approved. Ayes: 4 Noes: 0 Absent: 1

C. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION 2009-011 OVERRULING PROTESTS AND CONFIRMING REPORT ON WATER CHARGES AND DELINQUENT WATER CHARGES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010.

DESCRIPTION: Following the taking of Public Comment, as set forth above, the Board reviewed for adoption Proposed Resolution No.

2009-011 that Resolution proposes to over-rule protests and confirm the report on water charges and delinquent water charges for the year

2009-2010.

ACTION: A motion was made by Amy Lemmer, seconded by Cathie Anderson to adopt Resolution No. 2009-011 Overruling Protests and Confirming the Report on Water Charges and Delinquent Water Charges for the Fiscal Year 2009-2010.

The motion was approved. Ayes: 4 Noes: 0 Absent: 1

XI. DIRECTORS REPORTS

No action. This item was removed from the agenda.

XII. ADJOURNMENT

As there was no further business to be brought before the Board, a motion was made by Cathie Anderson, seconded by Amy Lemmer to adjourn the special meeting of the Board of Directors of the Camp Meeker Recreation and Park District.

The meeting adjourned at 10:45 a.m.
