A.          PUBLIC HEARING

 

The Board will take and review public comment on Proposed Resolution No. 05-005, which proposes to approve the 2005-2006 annual flat charge billing via property taxes. Proposed Resolution No. 05-005 is entitled:

 

"A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CAMP MEEKER RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT OVERRULING PROTESTS AND CONFIRMING REPORT ON WATER CHARGES AND DELINQUENT WATER CHARGES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006."

C.          ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION 05-005 OVERRULING PROTESTS AND CONFIRMING REPORT ON WATER CHARGES AND DELINQUENT WATER CHARGES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006.

 

DESCRIPTION:          Following the taking of Public Comment, as set forth above, the Board will review for adoption Proposed Resolution No.  05-005 that Resolution proposes to over-rule protests and confirm the report on water charges and delinquent water charges for the year 2005-2006.

 

PROPOSED ACTION: Adopt Resolution No.  05-005.

 

D.          ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION 05-006 APPROVING BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR END 2004-2005.

 

DESCRIPTION:  The Board will review for adoption Proposed Resolution No. 05-006 that Resolution proposes to approve adjustments for fiscal year 2004-2005.

 

PROPOSED ACTION: Adopt Resolution No.  05-006.

 

E.          INCENTIVE-BASED WATER CONSERVATION PROGRAM.

 

DESCRIPTION:  The Board will discuss and approve/disapprove a proposal for an incentive-based water conservation program.

 

Action:  The Board may/may not approve an incentive-based water conservation program.

 

F.              WATER CONNECTION REQUEST: LISA & LOREN HULETTE

DESCRIPTION:  Mr. And Mrs. Hulette have submitted a letter requesting information about the process necessary to be included in the Camp Meeker Water system and information about Camp Meeker’s role in the “Camp Meeker-Occidental Joint Wastewater Reclamation Project.”

 

PROPOSED ACTION:  The Board may/may not approve the request.

 

G.             MONTE RIO WASTEWATER PROTEST

DESCRIPTION:  The County will be raising the sewer rate to $1198.00 per year.  Unless 50% plus one of the district parcel owners protest, the fees will automatically be raised.  The protest must be in writing and received by August 15.  Camp Meeker owns a parcel within the district and can, therefore, lodge a protest.

 

PROPOSED ACTION:  The Board may/may not wish to protest the increase in sewer fees.

H.          APPROVAL OF ANDERSON HALL UPGRADES AND CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS UPDATE

 

DESCRIPTION:  The Board will review progress of Anderson Hall upgrades, discuss construction timetable, and work plan.

 

Action:  The Board may approve commencement of construction at the Anderson Hall site and other tasks relative to project progress.

 

VIII.          MONTHLY REPORT OF THE DISTRICT ENGINEERS, BRELJE AND RACE.

         

DESCRIPTION:  District Engineers will report on progress of present projects.

 

IX.          MONTHLY REPORT FROM WATER SYSTEM OPERATOR.

 

DESCRIPTION:  Water System Operator will report on water system operations for the current month.

 

X.          DIRECTORS REPORTS

Items for the agenda of the regular meetings of the Camp Meeker Recreation and Park District must be submitted to the District in writing. Regular meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Submissions must be received by the District no later than ten (10) calendar days before the meeting. Be sure to include your name, address, and phone number.  Anonymous submissions will not be considered for discussion.
