  1. REVIEW AND ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION 04-005, FINAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2004 – JUNE 30, 2005 AND A PROPOSITION 4 LIMIT.

DESCRIPTION:  The Board will review the Final Budget for fiscal year July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005.

 

ACTION:  The Board will adopt Resolution 04-005 approving the Final Budget for fiscal year July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005 and a Proposition 4 limit.

  1. OCCIDENTAL COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT REQUEST FOR TEMPORARY OUTSIDE WATER SERVICE CONTRACT REVIEW AND APPROVAL, RESOLUTION 04-006.

 

DESCRIPTION: Review proposed contract, charges for service and a specific time frame for services in response to Occidental Community Services District request for temporary outside water service agreement, pending completion of new water system.  This is an in-depth discussion based on prior month’s request.

 

PROPOSED ACTION:  Review and adopt a proposed contract, determine time length and charges for and grant a temporary outside water service agreement to OCSD.

 

 

  1. BOARD MEMBER REPLACEMENT:  Cheryl Martinsen

DESCRIPTION:  The Board will discuss the replacement of Board member, Cheryl Martinsen with respect to her pending resignation.

 

Action:  Discuss process for appointment of a replacement Board member and take appropriate action.

 

  1. REVIEW CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE AND UPDATE, RESOLUTION 04-007

DESCRIPTION:  The Board will review and adopt any changes to the current District conflict of interest code. Government Code section 87306.5 requires a review and update every two years.

 

ACTION:  Approve changes to conflict of interest code or confirm current code in accordance with Government Code section 87306.5 and adopt Resolution 04-007 reflecting changes.

 

    E.            REVIEW SONOMA COUNTY WATER AGENCY CORRESPONDENCE REGARDING WASTEWATER PROJECT GRANT FUNDING AND CONFIDENTIAL INCOME SURVEY.

DESCRIPTION:  The Sonoma County Water Agency has forwarded a letter advising that Camp Meeker’s Median Household Income exceeds the allowable annual income of $37,994 and advising a confidential income survey be conducted.

 

ACTION:  Approve conducting a confidential income survey per SCWA correspondence.

 

  1. VOTE FOR CALIFORNIA SPECIAL DISTRICTS BOARD MEMBERS REGION 3

DESCRIPTION:  California Special Districts Association is holding an election for Seat B.  There are several candidates running for the open directorship.

 

ACTION: Vote for Region 3 Seat B member for CSDA Board of Directors.

  1. REVIEW AND APPROVE DRAFT OF BOARD NEWSLETTER.

DESCRIPTION:  The Board will review the draft of “Board Notes” newsletter to be sent to the community via the water bills.

 

ACTION:  Approve and/or append Board notes newsletter.

 

 

VIII.            MONTHLY REPORT OF THE MONTHLY REPORT OF DISTRICT ENGINEERS, BRELJE AND RACE.

           

DESCRIPTION:  District Engineers will report on progress of present projects.

 

IX.            MONTHLY REPORT FROM WATER SYSTEM OPERATOR.

Items for the agenda of the regular meetings of the Camp Meeker Recreation and Park District must be submitted to the District in writing.   Regular meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month.   Submissions must be received by the District no later than ten (10) calendar days before the meeting.
