I. CALL TO ORDER – ROLL CALL

Meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM

Present: Gary Helfrich, Lori Ford, Cheryl Martinsen, Fred Meyer

Absent: Cathie Anderson

II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA

Motion made by Lori and 2^nd by Cheryl to accept agenda Ayes 4 Noes 0

III. PUBLIC DISCUSSION

1. Gene Koch presented a newspaper article about UV filtration. He asked if we could use this instead of chlorine for our drinking water. Gary responded that we are required by law to have chlorine in the drinking water.

1. Approval of minutes for meeting of September 12, 2000 and October 17, 2000

Motion by Cheryl 2^nd by Lori to accept minutes of September 12, 2000 Ayes 4 Noes 0

Motion by Lori 2^nd by Cheryl to accept minutes of October 17, 2000 Ayes 4 Noes 0

2. Payment of Claims

Motion by Lori 2^nd by Cheryl to pay all claims presented to the District Ayes 4 Noes 0

3. Financial Report

Financial Report was given by Cheryl Girard, final payment was made to Ranger Pipeline, Audit is going well.

V. ACTION AGENDA

1. Discuss and approve lease with the United States Post Office

Motion made by Fred 2^nd by Lori to approve resolution 00-07 Lease with the United States Post Office Ayes 4 Noes 0

2. Report from water system operator Russian River utility

3. Contact Department of Fish and Game and National Marine Fisheries to start the permit process for the summer 2001 season.

Cheryl talked with Supervisor Mike Riely and will set a meeting date to meet with Department of Fish and Game and the National Marine Fisheries and make a report of the progress at the next meeting.
